About Mallory
Mallory Rivard is an honors graduate from Saginaw Valley State University with a dual bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She is currently a first grade teacher within Bay City Public Schools and is pursuing her masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Saginaw Valley State University.
Mallory has been involved in the Miss America Organization for the past serval years representing various local organizations, advocating for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and building her platform. Mallory has received various state and national awards and scholarships throughout her Miss America journey including the 2016 Michigan STEM Scholarship Foundation for Women , Miss America Community Service Scholarship , Top 10 at Miss Michigan 2016, 2017 Excellence in Interview Award, and was named 1st runner up to Miss Michigan 2017. In August of 2017, Mallory was crowned Miss Downriver 2018. During her year as a titleholder, she plans to engage in community service events around the state of Michigan, promoting her platform, "The Power of One: The Value of the Volunteer." In June of 2018, Mallory will compete for the title of Miss Michigan. |
