The Power of One Community Impact Scholarship
As a first generation college student, Mallory understands the struggle of affording college.
In May of 2016, The Power of One Community Impact Scholarship was established to encourage and reward youth who have made a difference in their communities. One $250 scholarship was awarded to an individual who has shown an outstanding commitment to leadership and community service. In June 2017, two $250 scholarships were awarded to youth. We are currently in the process of selecting our 2018 recipients! Scholarship winners will be announced in June of 2018.
If you are interested in applying for the 2019 scholarship, applications will be released July 1st, 2018.

Meet our Recipients!
Tess is an engaged citizen in her community, on her campus, and within various student organizations! She states, “Being a one-on-one buddy for a child participating in Special Olympics is a priceless opportunity. The looks on their faces when they win a medal, cross the finish line, or hug you at... the end of their race is an experience that cannot be described in words. This is an event where there is no judgement, no hate, and all love. These kids are thrilled to be there and I am just as thrilled as they are. Special Olympics is very dear to my heart and it is an event that I hope continues on for years and years to come.”
Sam has been active with the Maier and Associates Just for Kids Leadership Board and has lead many community service projects in Bay City, Saginaw, and Midland! He states, "Volunteering is an important responsibility. I plan to continue volunteering throughout my college career and beyond!
